Why the list is short

Golden Jackpot List started from a simple frustration: most “best casino” pages are enormous directories in which every site is somehow excellent. We wanted the opposite — a short, argued shortlist of online casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, re-tested every month, that a player can read on a phone in two minutes and act on. The site is free to use and always will be.

How we make money

We are an affiliate website. When you click through to a casino from our list and open an account or make a deposit, that operator may pay us a commission — either a fixed referral fee or a share of revenue. This is the only way the site is funded; there are no subscriptions and no paid banner advertising. We say this plainly because you deserve to know it, and because ad platforms and regulators expect comparison sites to be transparent about it.

Editorial independence

Commission pays for the site; it does not buy a position on it. The people who score casinos do not negotiate commercial terms, and the ranking is decided by review scores alone. If an operator’s terms worsen or its withdrawals slow down, it drops or leaves the list regardless of what it pays. Any sponsored placement, should we ever run one, will be labelled as such. We feature only operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and never accept unlicensed sites, whatever the fee.

Trust over placement fees
